Andrea Maria Ratti, Gemologist teacher at DiamonDiamonD is our expert in gemology and luxury watchmaking. With a solid education and long experience in the sector, Andrea deals with the certification and evaluation of diamonds, precious stones and high-end watches, guaranteeing customers the utmost competence and professionalism.
Since 2016, Andrea has been working as an HRD certifier and sales assistant for luxury jewelry and watches. His passion for the sector has led him to collaborate with Dr. Silvana Morabito in the IGEM gemological laboratory, where he supports the technical evaluation and appraisal of precious stones, metals and gems.
Andrea’s training is top-notch, having obtained the “HRD Antwerp Certified Diamond Grader” diploma in 2018, which allows him to recognize and classify diamonds according to the 4Cs and to identify imitations, treatments and synthetic diamonds. In addition, he has completed specific specialization courses in colored stone and diamond analysis at IGEM.
